Under the direction of Dr. Barbara Royal, The Royal Treatment Veterinary Center (RTVC) offers veterinary rehabilitation, acupuncture, chiropractic, massage, herbal and nutritional advice, holistic medicine, and chronic care. Dr. Royal graduated with high honors from the University of Illinois in 1995 and has more than 20 years of experience as a veterinarian. She has completed certification programs in veterinary rehabilitation, herbal medicine, and acupuncture. She has been engaged in alternative medicine and acupuncture for over 13 years. She has also worked as an emergency veterinarian, an exotic/zoo consultant, a specialist at the Veterinary Specialty Center, and a general practitioner at Family Pet Animal Hospital.

For doctor's appointments, only one person per pet is permitted inside the building. When you arrive for your pet's appointment, please continue to check in over the phone at (847) 859-2101 and then hold on until a staff member emerges to lead you and your pet inside.
