George Muller, one of the "founding fathers" of the science of Veterinary Dermatology, founded the hospital in 1957. The practice began on Main Street, and after a relocation in 1980, we returned to North Main Street in July 2010. For almost 50 years, we have been a privately held practice that is also accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). In the Walnut Creek region, we are one of only a few AAHA-accredited animal hospitals. More information regarding this distinction, which only 12 to 15% of animal hospitals in North America accomplish, can be found in the sidebar.
