Veterinary Service Inc

On February 6, 1960, VSI was founded. This was the outcome of a collaboration between Willis D. Woodward, DVM, and Donald W. Rosenberg, DVM, in their joint practice, as well as Frank G. Sweetman, a former Van Waters and Rogers sales agent.

They founded VSI to capitalize on the chance to sell poultry-related health goods to a larger audience. Following that, while working for Merck, John E. Pugliese recognized the promise of VSI and joined them in 1962.
