Mermaid Vet Hospital was founded as a consequence of a combination of luck, desire, and dissatisfaction. Dr. Hagstrom and Dr. Mosites relocated to Vero Beach in 2018 after a colleague in Texas recommended a job opportunity in the area. They came to Vero Beach while visiting the Treasure Coast and couldn't resist the area's attraction, deciding to relocate and accept new positions here instead.
