Dr. Neal is an Arizona native. She earned a B.S. in Veterinary Science and a B.S. in Biology from UA in 1996, and then went on to Colorado State University to earn her DVM in 2000. Her professional background includes equine medicine, general practice, and shelter medicine. Dr. Neal has been recognized for her service to several veterinary organizations throughout her career, including the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association and the Association of Shelter Veterinarians. She was a recipient of the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce's 40 under 40 Award. After seven years of work with the Humane Society of Southern Arizona, Dr. Neal departed in 2012 and purchased Santa Cruz Vet Clinic in 2013.
