J. began the veterinary part of our narrative. In 1941, Porter Coble, DVM, founded Coble Animal Hospital. Currently, Dr. Franklin Coble and 5 additional veterinarians continue to provide Springfield with award-winning pet care services. There are two convenient places for us. The veterinary clinic on Sangamon Avenue was added in 1985. We have put a lot of effort into offering the most recent in veterinary medicine since 1941. Our facilities are equipped with the most recent digital radiography, ultrasound, and laser technologies. Additionally, we have a complete on-site laboratory and a fully stocked pharmacy, which allows us to diagnose your pet more quickly than waiting for outside labs when they are ill or injured.

Our small animal veterinarian facility provides care for cats and dogs of all sizes and shapes. In addition to having an on-site laboratory, digital radiography, therapy laser, and cytology, we also provide medical and surgical services. We have several fear-free measures in place in our clinic at West Lake, and all of our doctors are certified fear-free practitioners. In order to give you and your pet the finest veterinary visit possible, we also have technicians who are either qualified in fear-free procedures or are working toward that certification.
