Dr. Cody and Heather Lewis, husband and wife team, lead Animal Hospital of San Luis Obispo, which offers wellness checkups, preventative care, in-house diagnostics, dental cleanings, emergency services, and most soft-tissue and orthopedic procedures to small animals in the SLO community. Our veterinarians and staff have completed extensive training to become the Central Coast's first accredited "Cat Friendly" office, and all of our doctors and RVTs are "Fear Free" certified. Our goal is to keep your dogs as pain-free as possible. When it comes to providing convenient hours and simple ways to pay for your veterinarian services, we also consider your discomfort and anxiety! The Equine Center was established in 1987 with the goal of providing excellent care to horses in San Luis Obispo County and the neighboring areas. Our mission is to deliver the highest level of SERVICE to our clients while also providing the greatest veterinary CARE for their horses. Every day, we tackle it with a "Patient First" policy based on current, evidence-based medicine principles.
