"Douglas Blvd Veterinary Clinic was founded in 1964 by Dr. Wallace as a mixed animal practice. At the time, Douglas Blvd. was a 2-lane road all the way to Folsom Lake. In the 1970s, Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic purchased the practice from Dr. Wallace, and in the early 1980s, Dr. Wendy Shelton purchased the practice. After acquiring the practice from Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic, the practice changed into a small animal practice. Drs. Ann Bittaker
