For all things pertaining to pets, PetVets Animal Hospital is pleased to service the Oak Park, Illinois region. Dr. Yael Cidon, a qualified and accomplished Oak Park veterinarian, is in charge of our veterinary clinic and animal hospital. Along with numerous skilled technicians and assistants, she is assisted by five associate veterinarians: Drs. Kara Kelleher-Brennan, Richa Sachdev, Meg Barron, Arian Santiago, and Ashley Forti.

For more than 30 years, Dr. John Brancel has been treating animals with medicine. Dr. Brancel developed and ran Midtown Veterinarian, a business that made home calls for animals and provided relief coverage for other veterinary practices, before launching Prairie State Animal Hospital in Oak Park. After receiving his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Illinois, he was first assigned as the Chief Veterinarian at the Anti-Cruelty Society of Chicago in 1982.
