A wide variety of medical and surgical animal care services are offered by West Winds Veterinary Services, PC. During each visit, we work hard to make sure that our patients and clients have a great, stress-free experience. Regular examinations, immunizations, cheap spay and neuter procedures, dental treatment, digital radiology, on-site lab, emergency care are all things we provide. Drop-off appointments are something we provide at no extra cost. Kristina L. Trautman, DVM, our doctor, grew up on a ranch north of Pierre, South Dakota, and received her bachelor's degree in animal science and pre-veterinary medicine from SDSU in Brookings, South Dakota. She received her doctor of veterinary medicine degree from Texas A&M. She has a variety of interests, including veterinary medicine, animal rescue, outdoor pursuits including horseback riding, biking, and running, and charitable work.

Animal Clinic of Rapid City was founded in 1958 and has been a mainstay in the neighborhood for more than 60 years. We treat pets and pet owners from near and far since we are the only emergency veterinary hospital in a 250-mile radius.
