Since 1984, the Hebron Veterinary Hospital has been a member of the community. In 2015, Dr. Kim Mordasky bought HVH to keep the community tradition alive. She wanted local pet owners to have access to a loving family practice, especially with so many multinationals taking over veterinary medicine in the area. She wanted HVH to provide high-quality care in a welcoming atmosphere where clients and pets wouldn't get lost. Town and Country Veterinarian Associates is a well-established, full-service small animal veterinary hospital serving Vernon, Manchester, South Windsor, Tolland, and the surrounding communities with inexpensive, comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. Drs. Gayle Block and Maxine Borghesi established Town and Country Veterinary Associates in Vernon in January 1992 following a thorough study of the area for the ideal location. Their goal from the start was to limit themselves to a three-vet practice so that they could remain hands-on with each case. As a result, they were able to build strong ties with their clients and patients over time. Dr. Borghesi is no longer practicing, but the practice's owner, Dr. Gayle Block, has been a veterinarian for over 25 years and is a long-time Tolland County resident.
