Since 1957, Maplewood Animal Hospital has served as your go-to veterinary clinic in Muncie, Indiana. Mrs. Terri Panszi, an animal champion, launched ARF in June 1998. When the organization was founded, Mrs. Panszi was employed as an x-ray technologist at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. She used her earnings to rent a modest structure that could house 20–30 animals. She was initially the only person responsible for daily animal care, cleaning, and feeding. She was also in charge of all adoptions and fundraisers.
