Michael Paul Anderson is the first character in the Marshall Animal Hospital narrative. In 1971, he acquired a reputable equine veterinarian clinic and expanded it into a full-service mixed-animal hospital. He transformed it into a recognized business by having a strong work ethic and dedicating himself to each and every pet.

With one exam room, a van, and operating pens in the outback, Dr. Anderson enhanced animal care over the entire area. Dr. Anderson handled all creatures large and little in the manner of renowned author and veterinarian, Dr. James Herriot, and he generated many memories that are still fresh in our hospital.
