Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is owned and operated by Dr. Jerry Bode, who is a qualified, experienced Louisville veterinarian. Johnson Animal Clinic was originally owned by the late Dr. Johnson and opened in the 1970s. Our passion for animals drives us each day to provide the best medical care to all of our patients. We have been in the Hikes Point community for many years.

For more than 55 years, Audubon Animal Hospital has provided devoted pets in the Louisville region with veterinary care. Dr. James R. Grace inaugurated the initial hospital on Crittenden Drive in 1959. (known by his long term clients as Dr. Bob). Dr. Bob was born and raised in the Schnitzelberg neighborhood, attended St. Xavier High School, the Universities of Louisville and Kentucky, and Auburn University, where he earned his veterinary degree. He started the business because he wanted to work in the area where he grew up.
