Our shelter receives no money from the federal, state, or county governments, nor from the Humane Society of the United States or the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. To further our purpose of caring for the neglected and abandoned pets of Southwest Florida, we rely completely on donations, grants, bequests, and fundraising activities. The Gulf Coast Humane Society's pets stay with us until they find their forever home because we are a no-kill shelter.
