Dr. Elizabeth Banks, who was born and raised in Central Kentucky, graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Dr. Kim Hill, who was born and raised in Lexington, graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Del Tor Veterinary Clinic, the predecessor to Southland Veterinary Hospital, was established on Southland Drive more than fifty years ago. Dr. Malinda Ferrell joined the Southland Veterinary team after Drs. Millie Hardigree and Lisa Williams bought the hospital in 1996.
