Ark Animal Hospital

The first veterinarian in the area, Dr. Pimberton, was the initial owner and operator of Ark Animal Hospital, the first veterinary facility in Liberty, Missouri. Dr. Bales acquired the business in 1961 and changed its name to Bales Animal Hospital. At that time, the clinic was situated on Liberty Square beneath the pharmacy. Dr. Bales relocated the office next to the bowling alley in 1970. As his childhood veterinarian, Dr. Denny joined the practice in 1991 and remained there until Dr. Bales retired in 1995.
In 2002, Ark Animal Hospital changed its name and moved to its current address. Many things have changed throughout the years, but one thing has stayed constant: each member of our staff is committed to delivering high-quality services.
