Dr. Wayne Knapke created Oceanview Veterinary Hospital in 1992. Jacksonville Community Pet Clinics started out as a mobile pet clinic in 2009. The business thrived by delivering convenient, high-quality veterinary services to a market that was underserved by traditional veterinarians. The first brick-and-mortar clinic opened in Jacksonville Beach in 2011, with the west facility following in 2013. The new clinics' purpose was to provide a comprehensive range of veterinarian treatments to dogs and cats in Northeast Florida, both healthy and sick.

Shoreline Veterinary Hospital is a small, family-oriented clinic that caters to all of your pets' requirements in a safe and loving atmosphere. We recognize the importance of keeping your furry family members happy and healthy as a family-owned business. Long-term customer connections are important to us. In 1971, our hospital opened its doors to provide veterinary treatment to pets in Jacksonville Beach. Drs. Jacob Vencil and Jennifer Vencil, two well-known and adored veterinarians in the beachside community, took over management of the firm in 2017. They are looking forward to continuing the high-quality treatment that residents of Jacksonville Beach, Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, and Ponte Vedra have come to expect for their dogs by joining the existing staff.

In July of 2015, First Coast Veterinary Emergency (FCVER) became a fully equipped emergency pet facility. Our doctors and staff are available 24 hours a day to treat patients referred to us by primary care veterinarians.In-house laboratory testing, radiography, CT, ECG, pulse oximetry, blood pressure monitoring, and comprehensive critical care monitoring are among our diagnostic and monitoring capabilities. A highly equipped surgical suite and intensive care unit are available at our facility.
