Our state-of-the-art facility, which is located at 1471 Canton Mart Road in Jackson, houses Briarwood Animal Hospital, which provides a full variety of veterinarian services. Dr. Hugh Ward founded Briarwood Animal Hospital in 1960, giving it the neighborhood's Briarwood Subdivision as its name. Our facility served as one of Mississippi State University's College of Veterinary Medicine's first preceptors. Each year, Briarwood's veterinarians travel across the nation to conferences and seminars to learn about the most recent developments in veterinary science.
