Dr. Allyson J. Harris established Woodlawn Animal Hospital, Ltd. (WAH) on March 1st, 1995. Study up on Dr. Harris. The building that now houses WAH was formerly known as Sweeney Animal Hospital and has served the Woodlawn neighborhood as a pet hospital for more than 90 years!

For more than 50 years, Uptown Animal Hospital has served the Andersonville neighborhood of Chicago by offering high-quality veterinary services for cats and dogs. We are currently a client free clinic, and only your pet is allowed in the building. Pulaski Animal Hospital is a full service animal hospital and we offer a wide variety of services for your pet. At this time, we are not accepting walk-in appointments, but we do start a daily wait list of patients seeking services.

Dr. Kjerstin Jacobs founded Metropolitan Veterinary Center in 2012 in response to her observation that there was an unmet need for high-quality, affordably priced medical and surgical care for Chicago's beloved pets, not only during the week but also on weekends and late evenings. Typical Veterinary practices close early on weekdays, have very limited hours on Saturdays, and are closed on Sundays, leaving pet owners with the unfortunate situation of having to take their animals to other veterinarians.
