We are proud to serve dogs and families in the Huntington and adjacent counties of Wells, Wabash, and Grant. Our clinic is closed Monday–Thursday from 12:30–1:30pm for lunch. "WE ARE HERE FOR YOU!" you will be greeted with as soon as you enter our facility.

Northeast Indiana pet owners, especially those in the wider Fort Wayne area, can get a full range of veterinarian treatments from Waynedale Animal Clinic, a small animal veterinary hospital. By offering the best treatment and care for our animal patients while also delivering outstanding service and value for our clients, our mission is to foster the human-animal link.

Drs. David Thoma and Roy Coolman established the St. Joe Center Veterinary Hospital in 1967. On Maplecrest Road, St. Joe initially operated out of a repurposed grain elevator. Since then, there have been a lot of changes. St. Joe relocated into the structure that is presently home to NIVES in 1992. In 1996, we started offering round-the-clock emergency services to raise the standard of veterinary care in the neighborhood. In order to operate as a full-service veterinary hospital with a focus on primary care, St. Joe eventually split off from the Emergency and Specialty Hospital and relocated to our current facility in 2004.

We are a family pet practice that has been in the same location since 1969 and are focused on providing great treatment at an affordable price. We look forward to working with you!

Our services and facilities are designed to help in routine preventative care for young, healthy pets, early detection and treatment of disease as your pet ages, and complete medical and surgical care as necessary throughout his or her lifetime. We currently staff four doctors and see dogs, cats, and exotic pets.
