In 1977, Oakwood Veterinary Hospital was established. We have served the Traverse City region for more for 40 years, and we are proud of it. Oakwood recently relocated to Aero Park Drive from our previous location on Hastings Street. In order to provide you and your precious dogs more room, to enable our team to work more productively, and to better serve you as pet owners, Oakwood erected a new 6,400 square foot facility.

Our team is composed of two seasoned veterinarians and two certified veterinary technicians, and we have a high staff-to-patient ratio.

In Traverse City and the surrounding area, we are happy to offer a wide range of veterinary treatments for pets. Our team is committed to giving your dogs the very best care. Only 15% of small animal hospitals receive this certification from the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), which we proudly hold.
