Cats, dogs, and rabbits receive holistic medical care at Healing Spirit Animal Wellness Center. Acupuncture, chiropractic, herbal medicine, and homeopathy are among the medical, dental, and surgical services we provide, as well as complementary and alternative therapies including acupuncture, chiropractic, herbal medicine, and homeopathy. To guide diagnosis and assist us give the most appropriate therapy, we have an expanded in-house laboratory, digital x-ray, and ultrasound imaging. The Humboldt Spay/Neuter Network was established in 2003 with the goal of lowering the number of unwanted and euthanized cats and dogs in Humboldt County by making spaying and neutering accessible and cheap to all animals. We supplied vouchers that covered the cost of spays and neuters at local veterinary clinics, starting with a dream, a phone number, and community support. To save more animals and save more lives, we started our own spay/neuter clinic in 2014. More than 350 cats and dogs are spayed or neutered every month by our experienced veterinary staff. We also provide basic wellness care for needy animals, such as immunizations, parasite prevention, and wound treatment.
