Dr. Karen Seibold and colleagues created Animal Urgent Care in July 1996 to provide the best emergency veterinary medical and surgical treatments for companion animals. In April 2003, the practice moved to a state-of-the-art building, where it is still the oldest small animal emergency and critical care hospital in North County San Diego.
Dr. Scott DiLorenzo, a long-time associate, took over as the new owner of Animal Urgent Care on January 1, 2018. Dr. DiLorenzo is excited to carry on Dr. Seibold's legacy of providing high-quality veterinary care and supporting the dogs of North County San Diego when they are in need.
