Please contact our resort for boarding options, rates, and availability. Please make reservations in advance, especially around the holidays. Our separate dog boarding facility provides a fun place for your pet to play! We have premium suites that are climate controlled, multiple fenced in areas, and a large outdoor play area.

Volusia Veterinary Services' purpose is to provide quality, compassionate veterinary care for the animals of Volusia County residents (both large and small).Dr. Matt L. Schairer is able to manage a wide range of veterinary procedures, including everything from difficult surgery to basic wellness visits.Dr. Matt lived in New York before founding his veterinary clinic in Downtown DeLand, FL, where he earned a Bachelor of Animal Science from Cornell University and a Masters in Animal Science from the University of Florida. Dr. Matt focused his sights on providing superior veterinary treatment to a variety of animals after completing his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine.

Each pet we see has its own set of requirements. Our veterinarian care is tailored to the individual, not the species. We take care of the full patient with our holistic approach. We use a variety of techniques at the FloridaWild veterinary clinic in DeLand to help your pet live their best life. We recommend semi-annual or annual inspections depending on your pet's age and species. We will thoroughly inspect your pet, their nutrition, exercise, and any other issues you may have during this visit. Infectious disease and internal organ function testing may be recommended. We'll create a treatment plan that includes dietary counseling, supplements, and additional testing once we obtain those results.
