The Halifax Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) private charity organization serving Volusia County, Florida's Greater Daytona Beach area. In 1937, the Halifax Humane Society was established.We are an open-door animal shelter that yearly serves approximately 30,000 animals. The kennel and cage capacity, which can comfortably house 350 animals each day, is regularly full.We have a spay/neuter clinic on site, and we perform early-age spay/neuter surgery to ensure that all adopted animals are altered before being adopted. The Halifax Humane Society's Redinger Spay/Neuter Clinic, located at 600 Mason Avenue in Daytona Beach, also offers discounted spay/neuter surgeries.
