Culver City Animal Hospital has served the local community as one of the most respected and trusted veterinary facilities in the area for the past 55 years. Since its founding by Dr. Adams in 1965, our hospital has earned a reputation for providing personalized attention to dogs and cats, including treatment, wellness, and a full range of surgical operations. After their father, long-time veterinarian and owner, Dr. Larry Kidwell, passed away a few years ago, the Kidwell family now manages the hospital. We are happy to provide a surgical-care specialist to the community with Dr. Heidi Hilleary at the helm of our medical team.

We started out as a modest shop in Mar Vista at 4307 Centinela Avenue. Al Barnes, co-owner of the Carson and Barnes circus, intended to build his own city in 1926. The municipal hall for Barnes City was the site of Centinela Feed's future headquarters. Barnes City was only around for a year before it was annexed by Los Angeles. But it was long enough for the structure to be designated as a historical landmark.
