Veterinary Medical Hospital Of Clearwater

Dr. Steadman Carr founded the Gulf Coast Animal Hospital (later renamed the Veterinarian Hospital of Clearwater) in 1958 in response to a demand for a high-quality, full-service veterinary care facility in the Clearwater, Dunedin, and Safety Harbor areas. Both US 19 and State Road 580 (Main Street) had only two lanes at the time. Where the Countryside Mall now stands opposite from our hospital, there was once only an empty field. Top-notch veterinary care on the cutting edge in an animal hospital where you are treated like family were Dr. Carr's ideals. Dr. Bendit and our staff have carried on those beliefs. These are just a few of the reasons why since 1958, compassionate pet owners have selected us and why their offspring continue to do so.
