Wise & Wonderful Integrative Veterinary Center is honored to carry on the Coddingtown Veterinary Clinic tradition (name changed September 2018 with the same team and the same spirit preserved). Since 1968, Coddingtown Veterinary Clinic, now Wise and Exceptional Integrative Veterinary Center, has served Santa Rosa and Northern California's wonderful pet owners. Internal medicine, surgery, vaccinations, dentistry, grooming, hospitalization, flea and heartworm control, in-house and reference laboratory diagnostic testing, prescription medications, radiology services including x-rays and ultrasound exams) and Eastern Holistic Medicine are all part of our integrative practice (acupuncture, five element theory, traditional Chinese veterinary medicine, herbal prescriptions, and nutritional therapy).

Full-service veterinary hospital VCA PetCare West Veterinary Hospital is open seven days a week. We offer a facility where members of the Santa Rosa community can bring their animals for general medical issues, wellness/preventative medication, and urgent treatment for non-life threatening circumstances.

Dr. Joyce Pedersen, ACVIM is a small animal internal medicine specialist. In 2003, she began working at Redwood Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Pedersen graduated from Louisiana State University with a doctorate in veterinary medicine. She then went on to Michigan State University for an internship in small animal medicine and surgery, followed by a residency in small animal internal medicine at Cornell University. Dr. Pedersen's areas of expertise include hematology, oncology, endocrinology, dermatology, and liver and kidney disorders. Dr. Pedersen practiced in New York and the San Francisco Bay region before returning to Sonoma County in 2003, and he adds a wealth of expertise and experience to our office.
