We are a non-profit veterinary clinic dedicated to providing high-quality, low-cost spay and neuter services for dogs, cats, feral cats, rabbits, and rats (males only) in the hopes of making this important aspect of pet care and pet overpopulation control more accessible to pet owners and feral cat caregivers.

Three veterinary practices, formerly known as Ohlone Veterinary Emergency, Veterinary Orthopedic and Surgery Service, and Veterinary Internal Medicine Service, are now part of Beacon Veterinary Specialists. In 2016, we merged to form a single practice to better represent the collaborative nature of our patient care.

Dr. K.S. Mann launched Aborn Pet Hospital in 1987, and Dr. Metcalfe founded Grimmer Blvd Veterinary Clinic in 1972. Aborn Pet Hospital chose to expand its exceptional services to more Tri-City clientele after many years of growth and services.

Grimmer Blvd Veterinary Clinic was acquired by Aborn Pet Hospital in 2003, and clients were transferred to Aborn Pet Hospital. We might deliver a greater standard of healthcare and better customer service by uniting these two facilities.
