Dr. Kate Knutson and Dr. Steve Barghusen founded Pet Crossing Animal Hospital & Dental Clinic in 1997 with the goal of creating a place where clients and their four-legged family members could receive quality care in a welcoming setting. Because of this, every patient receives lots of treats, pats, hugs, and kisses, and our mission is to provide state-of-the-art care for you and your pet.

We take great satisfaction in creating relationships that last a lifetime with both our patients and their owners. We provide our pet owners with honest, affordable options rather than pressuring them or making them feel terrible. The Animal Care Campus is a full-service nonprofit veterinary clinic, pet food and supply pantry, grooming, emergency housing center, education center, pet memorial garden, public dog walking trails, on-site administration and storage. It is situated on the west side of Bloomington, close to the Monroe County Airport.

Since December 27th, 2012, Casey Shake, DVM has owned and run Town and Country Veterinary Clinic.
We are a tiny animal practice that only accepts appointments.

Since we are a nonprofit hospital, Pets Alive depends on the kindness of our friends who support the work we do to maintain our surgery costs reasonable and affordable for everyone. Spaying and neutering saves lives and is THE SOLUTION to stop the needless killing of healthy dogs.
