The Greater Battle Creek Area has been served by Turner Veterinary Clinic for more than 75 years. We take satisfaction in the fact that during that time, there have only been four different owners. In 1998, Dr. Benjamin Huelsbergen acquired the practice and has carried on the longstanding history of providing each of his patients and their families with sensitive and individualized treatment.

Welcome to Southside Veterinary Clinic, where we take pride in "Helping People Take Care of Their Pets Since 1993," and our kennel, the Southside Bed and Biscuit. Dr. James R. Luoma founded Southside Veterinary Clinic in 1994. He still owns and runs the veterinary practice as well as the Southside Bed and Biscuit, a dog and cat boarding facility that was constructed in 2001. Customers at home1Southside can rest easy knowing that the same veterinarian will always care for and remember their beloved animal. Both companion animals and cattle are the focus of the Southside Veterinary Clinic. This applies to canines, felines, equines, cattle, sheep, and goats.

We also specialize in equestrian performance medicine, including chiropractic and acupuncture.
