With over 40 years of experience serving Baton Rouge, Highland Road Animal Hospital has the incredible distinction of being an AAHA (American Animal Hospital Association) hospital for almost 30 years running! In order to provide high-quality care to the animals of the Highland Road and Kenilworth communities, Dr. Randy Thayer built the hospital in 1968. The practice has expanded along with the locality. Dr. Carrie Fox began working at the clinic in 1995, and in 2002 she became the owner. 2004 saw Dr. Thayer's retirement. 2008 saw the addition of Dr. Adrian Bergeron as a partner. In our spectacular new facility, which opened in November 2010, we have maintained the original objectives of Dr. Thayer of providing exceptional veterinary care. We are devoted to providing top-notch medical care.

The Mid-City/Goodwood neighborhood is home to the small animal veterinary clinic Capital Heights Veterinary Clinic. We work hard to provide pets with high-quality care while emphasizing convenience and personalized attention in a welcoming environment. Our services include wellness checkups and parasite testing, immunizations, microchipping, surgery, and dentistry for companion animals, including rabbits and "pocket pets." Additionally, we provide boarding, daycare, and bathing. Drop-off service is arranged in advance and is available for a modest additional price for checks and minor issues.

Since Dr. Thomas C. Stuckey, Jr. opened its doors in 1984, Garden District Animal Hospital has provided comprehensive veterinarian treatment for pets in the Louisiana communities of Baton Rouge and Port Allen. In 2011, Dr. Andrea Andersen bought the clinic. Since then, the business has evolved from a one-doctor operation to one with a number of caring and knowledgeable vets eager to look after your cherished pet. Because we serve every one of our clients and their companion animals with high-quality treatment at affordable rates, Garden District Animal Hospital is currently treating and caring for more dogs and cats than ever.

In its cutting-edge facilities, Jefferson Animal Hospital in Baton Rouge has been offering first-rate veterinary care for more than three decades. We have on-site laboratories to promptly diagnose medical problems and an on-site pharmacy for pet medications in addition to our compassionate and skilled vets. The most advanced veterinary technology is available in our pet surgery rooms, which can track body temperature, heart rate, pulse rate, and breathing rate. We carefully administer an intravenous anesthetic as well as a gas anesthetic during surgery since we believe in keeping our patients comfortable.
