We are a fourth generation family practice that was founded by Dr. George F. Reid in 1934. His sons, Dr. George R. Reid and Dr. Richard D. Reid continued the tradition followed by Richards' son Dr. Tim Reid, the current owner. Dr. Tim will be joined by son Harrison after he graduates from the OSU College of Veterinarian.

Right off of Highway 20, in the North Albany Plaza, we are situated next to Tom's Garden Center. We offer a full-service veterinary hospital as well as emergency care for small animals and horses at our site. Dr. Ben Braat established Linn Veterinary Hospital in 1974, and he is still the business's only proprietor today. The hospital provides both on-site and mobile care for horses and animals in order to meet the requirements of the local community's dogs, cats, horses, and livestock. Our mobile services extend far beyond the Willamette Valley. We are appreciative of the city of Albany's assistance and confidence in us, and we especially appreciate seeing many generations of the cherished customers who frequent our business. Our clinic strikes a balance between using the most recent technology and keeping veterinarian care accessible and affordable for all families. Everyone should be able to enjoy owning a pet as a part of the family!

Dr. Ross Miller and his wife Elaine established Town and Country Animal Clinic here in 1968. The clinic's initial location was just north of town, free of any urban growth, as a big and small animal facility. In 1972, the original structure was expanded and renovated. A subsequent redesign took place in 2004. Over the years, Dr. Miller has worked with numerous associate veterinarians, including Dr. Ann Weston, who joined and acquired the business in 1996. Dr. Weston is an OSU and WSU veterinary college graduate. Elaine and Dr. Miller continued with the company until 1997.
