Sugar Kettle Cafe

I've always enjoyed cooking, which I attribute to my grandmother and mother. They both put in a lot of time and effort into the meals they cooked for our family every night. At my house, there was always a weekly meal plan hanging on the refrigerator. When I turned 16, one of my weekly responsibilities was to go grocery shopping. My mother would tell you that eating was fun at first; she just cooked whatever I brought home from the store, whether she asked for it or not.
