Whataburger has proudly offered a larger, better burger since 1950. When a young businessman by the name of Harmon Dobson had the audacious notion to sell a burger so large that it required two hands to hold and so delicious that after just one mouthful, customers couldn't help but exclaim, "What a burger! We are still a family-run business more than 60 years after he gave the name "Whataburger" to his modest burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas. Every single Whataburger® is still prepared upon order. We continue to use a large, toasted five-inch bun and only use 100% pure beef.
