He founded and served as the first President of the UF Aquarium Club. James used his aquaculture talents to be the first person to catch, transport, mate, and rear in captivity the offspring of a deep-sea octopus species for his dissertation thesis at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

The Star Pups Nursery is a welcoming and pleasant environment where present and prospective dog owners can find a lifetime of love in the shape of a happy, small furry bundle of joy. Our goal is to find the puppy that best suits our neighbors' requirements and lifestyle. Our reward is being able to watch them mature as members of our community.

The Exotic DVM Forum's mission is to promote and encourage discussion of exotic animal medicine among veterinarians who are committed to providing high-quality care for non-traditional companion animals.
