Pet Stores

Owned and run locally, Fluffy and Floyd's. We take pride in our community and are not a chain store. In order to serve the pet-loving community, owners Stacie and Jeff Oehlerich created Fluffy and Floyd's in Thurston County where they live and work. They strongly believe that it is their duty to support the things they sell and remain accessible to their clients at all times. They proudly own two cats and four dogs as pets. With her dogs, Stacie enjoys competing in agility events. 

When Elsa Wulff bought a little farm store in 1988, Mud Bay was born. Early on, Mud Bay sold a little of almost everything, from locally grown oysters, pop tarts, and folk art to hog feed, fertilizer, and hay. The store was housed in an 80-year-old building on Mud Bay Road, which runs west out of Olympia and spans the bottom end of Mud Bay, one of the southern arms of Puget Sound. The shop also suffered a loss.

The shop also suffered a loss. Lars, Elsa's son, joined Mud Bay as its third employee in 1989 after realizing that his mother couldn't afford for the company to fail.

My name is Cassandra, I run Sweet4Serpents, and I've been passionate about all animals my entire life. My favorite pastime while growing up on a farm in lovely Western Washington was capturing garter snakes. Of course, I attempted to persuade my parents to retain them, but sadly, they would never agree because my grandmother has an Ophidiophobia (fear of snakes). I nevertheless made an effort! I even created a PowerPoint presentation in third grade to try and persuade my parents to purchase me a red-tail boa (I still have the floppy disk).
