The Fetching Dog

Fetching Dog is a pet food, toy, and supply store run by a local family. Becci and Bryce Scott, the owners, have been involved in animal rescue work in the valley since the mid-nineties. While volunteering at the AAWL, Becci learnt how to groom pets in order to assist the cats and dogs be adopted faster. Her mentor started teaching her about nutritional supplements to aid the dogs who had been terribly neglected and were set to be euthanized if they couldn't be saved. Becci read all the books she could find about improved pet nutrition before the internet, so she could help more dogs be saved and adopted.Becci has since rescued a variety of animals, always working to restore their health through natural feeding and educating their adopters on how to keep them healthy.Fetching Dog is a pet boutique that focuses on animal rescue. We hold adoption events and frequently have cats or kittens in our kitten room seeking for homes.Bryce has spent numerous hours creating specialized fresh food diets for their foster pets and personal pets over the years, as well as building and maintaining many dwelling spaces for the rescue creatures to thrive in their house while in foster care. They also fostered children for the state of Arizona and adopted their four children in 2011.
Fetching Dog began as a mobile grooming business in 2005, then in 2017, Becci purchased an established pet store in Scottsdale. Bryce left his job as a UPS delivery driver after 30 years and joined her in running the Fetching Dog store.Becci's purpose is to give high-quality food and supplement solutions for all pets to thrive after so many years of learning and applying nutrition to help pets heal. She is a certified raw pet food nutritionist who is always eager to share what she has learned over the years to assist other pet owners in learning what they can do to help their pets live their best lives. They can help you design a better dish for your dog or cat, whether you use fresh food, freeze dried food, dry kibble, or anything in between!
