My brother and I, as lifetime pet enthusiasts, recognized an opportunity to help educate pet caregivers by sharing information over the internet. We spotted a need for an upscale pet boutique on our travels, therefore Bow Wow Meow was formed. In 1989, we opened our first store in San Carlos, followed by locations in San Francisco and Menlo Park. We take pleasure in being an integral member of the community. The majority of the Bow Wow Meow crew has been with us for many years, and the community has relied on us to advise them on good pet care for several generations.

Woodlands Pet Shop is a family-owned pet store in the East Cut district of San Francisco. We focus on providing high-quality food and goods for your dogs. Each item in the store is hand-selected by our tiny team, and we strive to provide our clients with the best products available in the pet world, as well as an in-depth personalized experience each time you visit. We adhere to holistic principles and would not stock a product that we would not use or give to our pets. We sell a range of dry, wet, raw, and gently cooked diets that fulfill our high criteria (no maize, wheat, soy chemical colors or preservatives, unidentified sourcing) (no corn, wheat, soy artificial colors or preservatives, unspecified sourcing).

Megan Johnson bought this renowned neighborhood pet store, formerly known as Healthwize, in 2007. She believes in treating pets as family members and has gone to great lengths to stock this little shop space with everything you'll need as well as provide advice on all aspects of pet caring. Megan maintains excellent working ties with pet food producers, ensuring that the offerings are of the highest quality. Her staff can assist you in selecting the best brand and recipe for your pet. The store is actively involved in the community and is always willing to help.
