My brother and I, as lifetime pet enthusiasts, recognized an opportunity to help educate pet caregivers by sharing information over the internet. We spotted a need for an upscale pet boutique on our travels, therefore Bow Wow Meow was formed. In 1989, we opened our first store in San Carlos, followed by locations in San Francisco and Menlo Park. We take pleasure in being an integral member of the community. The majority of the Bow Wow Meow crew has been with us for many years, and the community has relied on us to advise them on good pet care for several generations.

Each item in the store is hand-selected by our tiny team, and we strive to provide our clients with the best products available in the pet world, as well as an in-depth personalized experience each time you visit. We adhere to holistic principles and would not stock a product that we would not use or give to our pets. We sell a range of dry, wet, raw, and gently cooked diets that fulfill our high criteria (no maize, wheat, soy chemical colors or preservatives, unidentified sourcing) (no corn, wheat, soy artificial colors or preservatives, unspecified sourcing).
