We've had a connection ever when I adopted Mischa when she was just 8 weeks old. He would simply observe me as I moved around a space. He was continually looking for me. To both humans and dogs, Mischa has always been a calming presence. We would allow any dog that was uneasy about dogs to spend time with Mischa. Canines still liked to hang out with him despite the fact that he preferred to be by himself and never played with other dogs since he applied fair punishment and had such a calming presence.

We are here to keep our families together, so we are aware of the crippling terror that results when they don't return. Yes, modern technology may offer to aid in that endeavor. But in reality, tagging our best friend is still the quickest and most reliable way to get them back.
