Paddywack is a family-run independent shop with only one location. Owners Adam and Shane, a husband and wife team, have more than 35 years of combined expertise in the natural pet food industry. They have previously worked for a number of small, family-run pet supply stores. Adam worked as Paddywack's operations manager until buying the business in July 2014, with Shane concentrating on raising their two young children.

In Seattle, Washington, Pet Pros was first established in 1986.
