Gentle Jungle Pet Store

 Puppy Pete, sixteen years old, works weekends at the Dr. Pet Center at the Naugatuck Valley Mall in Waterbury, CT, cleaning animal waste and feeding the animals. Puppy Pete worked at that pet store throughout high school, learning about animals, and then moved on to college in Boston, where he worked part-time at pet stores. He applied for and was hired as store manager of that same Waterbury Dr. Pet Center after graduating from college. Several national awards for sales, cleanliness, and customer service were given to the store.
