After the old feed mill, which was established in 1880 and was situated in the center of Johnson City, shut its doors in the 1980s, Jim built and opened the feed store. In order to better serve its customers in the areas of Johnson City, Dripping Springs, Blanco, Round Mountain, and Cypress Mills, the Odiorne Feed store has since expanded and grown.
