The previous owner founded The Pet Stop in the late 1990s. The current location on Woodway opened in the early 2000s, replacing the earlier location in Rice Village. Before Angella Prinz, the current owner, bought the business in 2005, it was operated for many years. Angella transformed the business into what it is now, a popular destination for pet lovers from all around Houston and beyond, thanks to her significant experience in the pet market.
