I've been enjoying and learning about the joys of a pet's affection and friendship for over 20 years. I realized my passion and created Lily's Baths and Biscuits for dogs, cats, and their people as a result of this and other inspiring experiences such as working at a veterinarian clinic, attending grooming school, working at a pet boutique and bath shop, volunteering for the Mid-Atlantic GSP Rescue organization, and fostering German Shorthaired Pointers.

Luke Johnson is a fourth-generation Coloradoan; his grandparents were dairy farmers and homesteaders in the late 1800s. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Northern Colorado, with a focus on public relations and marketing media. He has worked in public relations for a regional hospital campus and as the Director of Strategic Partnerships for the Mercedes-Benz Club of America's National Business Office.
