We take care of Mom at each birth of our baby Yorkshire Terrier dogs here at home. To ensure that the mother is in perfect health before giving birth, all moms have X-rays. Young puppies will arrive mixed-up and pre-ruined. Since its opening in 1984, Sandy's Pet Food Center has been the premier natural pet food retailer in the neighborhood. Sandy Sanel, the original owner, sold the business to Adam Burr-Mecum, who expanded it and moved the store to a lovely, much larger building in 2014 to better serve the needs of neighborhood pets. Sandy's has offered all-natural pet food produced with premium ingredients ever since it first opened. Over the ensuing years, Andy and Paul kept working on various other initiatives to keep the farm operational while David oversaw Hooksett Agway. Tom, the youngest and most well-known employee at Osborne's Agway, earned an animal science degree from UNH in 1994. He made the decision to join corporate Agway after graduating in order to get new skills that he could use to the growing Hooksett family business. Paul, another well-known face at the businesses now, spent many years in the 1990s working as a full-time logger but occasionally volunteered at the farm and store.
