Concord Ice & Fuel was THE general store of choice in the booming 1920s. Contractors were on their way to get building materials. Owners of horses came for equipment and feed. Everyone else had come for everyday basics such as sewing thread, coal, hay, and cement. Tony Akins bought Concord Ice & Fuel and renamed it Concord Feed & Fuel fifty-seven years later. The company developed by leaps and bounds with Tony at the helm.

Feathered Follies offers full-service bird boarding, grooming, small and large bird sales, food, cages, and toys, among other services. In 1993, Feathered Follies started as a modest home-based enterprise. Since then, it has grown to become the East Bay's top avian supply business! We've built a great reputation and a devoted customer base by focusing on customer service, excellent products, and knowledgeable employees.
