We adore animals, and we think that doing so makes us become better people. They will do anything for us, which is one of the primary reasons we participate in Anything for Pets. Anything for Pets represents our dedication to pet owners, our company culture, and who we are as animal lovers. As the industry pioneer in pet care, we base our choices on ways to strengthen the bond between pet parents and their animals.

We began as Southern States Norfolk Service in the 1940s on Brambleton Avenue in Norfolk, Virginia, and operated there until 1966, when we bought the property and built the structure we now know as Chesapeake Association. For the next 70 years, we look forward to servicing our consumers.

The shop is owned and run by Jeff & Shanonn, who have extensive knowledge of the animals and goods we sell. We genuinely like discussing the best ways to care for your pet with you! Please stop by and ask questions because our understanding of these species is constantly expanding and changing. We will assist you in customizing your enclosure to meet your needs because we truly believe that there is no "one size fits all" solution.
